Welcome to Pelican Park Recreation Centre

Pelican Park Recreation Centre is a leading lifestyle gym and indoor aquatic facility located on the beautiful Hastings Foreshore, offering a welcoming space for the whole community to get active, feel supported and improve their overall wellbeing.

Featuring a fully equipped health club with cardio machines, free weights, functional training areas and more than 50 weekly group fitness classes to suit all levels.

The dedicated Wellness Centre offers Reformer Pilates, infrared saunas and ice baths to support strength, mobility, recovery and relaxation in a calming, purpose-built space.

The indoor aquatic area includes a 25‑metre pool, leisure pool, toddler pool with interactive features, plus spa and steam room facilities.

Supported by qualified fitness, aquatics and customer service staff, Pelican Park Recreation Centre provides inclusive, accessible and high-quality health and leisure experiences for members and casual visitors alike.

We’re committed to making Pelican Park Recreation Centre welcoming and inclusive for everyone. Here’s what you’ll find on site:

  • The entrance to Pelican Park Recreation Centre is accessible to people with various mobility requirements.
  • Pelican Park Recreation Centre is equipped with one accessible hoist change room and two accessible change rooms with showers, benches & toilets, located in our Family Change Village area. An additional accessible change room, which includes showers, benches & toilets, is located in the corridor area.
  • Ramp Access to the main pool area for easy entry.
  • There are two designated accessible parking bays directly to the east of Pelican Park Recreation Centre’s main entrance.

Driving

Pelican Park Recreation Centre is located on the Hastings Foreshore.

Public Transport

Train

Take the Stony Point Line to Hastings Railway Station and walk 19 minutes to the centre.

Bus

Take Bus 782 to Hastings SC/King St (stop 37) and walk for 12 minutes.

Parking

Bitumen & gravel parking is available. As well as accessible parking, which is located to the right of the centre's main entrance. Please note that the parking is shared with other users of the Hastings Foreshore.
