The centre features a competition-level four-court indoor stadium, accessible facilities and a range of group fitness classes available to the community, creating opportunities for participation at all levels.

We’re committed to making Somerville Recreation Centre welcoming and inclusive for everyone. Here’s what you’ll find on site:

  • The entrance to Somerville Recreation Centre is accessible to people with various mobility requirements.
  • Somerville Recreation Centre proudly boasts the availability of a Changing Places toilet. The toilet is inclusive of a full-size change table and hoist.
  • There are two designated accessible parking bays directly to the east of Somerville Recreation Centre’s main entrance.

If you need extra support during your visit, please speak to our friendly staff at reception—we’re here to help.

Driving

We are located directly behind Fruit Growers Reserve in Somerville, where both members and casual visitors can come and enjoy our facility services. Access is also available from Somerville Plaza, on Eramosa Road West.

Public Transport

Train

Take the Stony Point Line to Somerville Railway Station and walk 10 minutes.

Bus

Take Bus 782 to Somerville Station/Frankston-Flinders Rd (stop 17) and walk 10 minutes.

Parking

Bitumen parking is available. Accessible parking is located to the right of the centre's main entrance. Please note that the parking is shared with other users of Somerville Plaza.
