Sensory Hour
Available at:
Low Sensory Hour
Low Sensory Hour is a dedicated time each week where we create a calm and comfortable environment in our Health Club.
During this hour, we switch off music, dim the lights where possible, minimise equipment noise and weight dropping, turn off hand dryers and reduce screen use. Our goal is to offer a space with fewer visual and auditory distractions.
This initiative is designed to support individuals who experience sensitivity to light and sound, providing families, carers and those with sensory needs a place where they can feel safe, supported and at ease. By offering this environment, we aim to help foster a more inclusive and connected community.
We are committed to making our venues accessible and welcoming for all members and visitors.
We kindly ask everyone to be respectful and supportive during Low Sensory Hour. This is a safe and considerate time for all to enjoy our facilities.
